Working on some art for Elepath #00002. This one will be a huge cutout.
Been spending a lot of time inside Elepath Studio #00002, my latest project.
Check out the commercial we produced for Thinglist. Did some compositing and motion graphics work for this spot.
We just rolled out a great new update to Thinglist.

It was really cool to see this space as a blank cavas and listen to the all the plans Pasquale has for it.
This is one intense project. It’s nice to design something physical for a change. Will be sharing progress.

Kyle Bragger just posted an article on Medium about how working insane numbers of hours is not just unhealthy, but unproductive:

An entrepreneur is someone who, almost artistically, designs a living entity which embodies the values, beliefs, and ambitions of the creator. It’s impossible for a larger entity to swallow a smaller one without completely reshaping it. (continue reading)

Every year, truly amazing short films play at festivals around the world. They dazzle audiences and win prizes. The filmmakers’ visions are embraced and championed by the festival organizers. After the festival circuit, however, the picture isn’t as bright.
Lacking commercial options, many short filmmakers consider uploading their work to a video hosting site. But YouTube and Vimeo are designed to sell ads, making them less-than-ideal homes for artful, visionary filmmaking. Consequently, many of the best filmmakers opt not to put the work online at all.
This is a huge loss, both culturally and commercially. Great short films enrich the spirit. They deserve a home online that is designed for them — their own “theater”, where any curious mind can buy an unobstructed view and let the film wash over them.
